Building Maintenance Technician & Shred Truck Driver

H&R Contractors, Inc is looking for a motivated person with a professional and positive personality to join our Shred and Maintenance Teams!

This would be a Full-Time position splitting time between two departments.

Pre-Employment and Random Drug Screening is required. For insurance purposes, we follow Federal mandates.

(1) Preventative Building Maintenance.

a. Normal tasks may consist of: changing out light ballasts, unclogging sewer lines, repairing/installing doors, handrails, blinds, etc. picking up debris and trash, fixing minor electrical and/or plumbing issues, performing equipment repairs (ie: vacuums, dehumidifiers, floor scrubbers, etc).

(2) Confidential Document Shredding.

a. Normal tasks may consist of: operating a large box truck, emptying paper receptacles in offices/medical facilities, transporting material in the truck, maintaining confidentiality, performing daily/weekly maintenance on the truck.

All work will be performed on a commercial level with customers on site

Applicants must possess:

Clean driving record

Ability of lift 100 lbs from floor to trash can

Ability to safely climb in/out of truck

Clear background check

Ability & willingness to work alone and as part of a team

Professional appearance and demeanor

Normal work hours will be Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm

Hours may vary depending on workload and projects for the day

Call-in’s and emergency services may happen but are rare

Occasional Saturday hours are required for Special Events

Paid Training Provided

Starting Pay $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
