Building Custodian/Aircraft Detailer

Job Summary

This is an entry level position for Building Custodian/Aircraft Detailer. No experience is required and training is provided. If you have interest in corporate aviation, professional aircraft cleaning,and aircraft ground support please apply today. Previous experience with auto detailing and/or custodial work is a plus.

The Building Custodian/Aircraft Detailer position performs a variety of operational duties related to corporate aircraft. Various ground equipment is utilized for the purpose of aircraft detailing, ground movement, and ground support.

Compensation:

• $16-$18 per hour starting wage

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for facility cleaning, company vehicle washing, aircraft cleaning/detailing, and vacuuming
• Services aircraft lavatory and potable water service
• Ensures aircraft are chocked, locked and secured
• Ensures hangar, tarmac, grounds, office and client areas are kept clean and orderly
• Aiding in ground support and movement of aircraft
• Meeting inbound aircraft upon arrival to ramp and launching aircraft for departure
• Passenger transportation via company vehicles
• General errand running

Other duties include:

Staging/towing of aircraft, hangar housekeeping, building maintenance, sanitation, ground maintenance, minor repairs. Employee will also operate ground service equipment, which may include motor vehicles.

Requirements:

Employee must be able to lift 50+ pounds, bend, squat, and climb 6-10 ft. ladders. The work environment involves the outdoors and may present weather variations and elevated noise levels. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a EUG Airport Security Badge and carry a valid driver’s license. Aviation experience is not necessary, on the job training is provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
