We’re hiring a Breakfast Attendant to Live. Work. Explore. just one mile from the entrance to the iconic south rim of Grand Canyon National Park!
Job Summary:
The food runner delivers food and drink orders to customers' tables rapidly and accurately. They are responsible for assisting with buffet operations, cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils, and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed, making sure diners' water glasses are full, and reset tables for the next service.
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $14.65 per hour
Schedule: Typical schedule is 32-40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Continually focus on providing exceptional guest service as a primary goal.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, checks, or charge payments and makes change for customers.
- Verifies credit acceptance and operates credit card authorization systems.
- Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shifts by following checkout procedures.
- Assure guests have everything they need on the tables, drinks, condiments, proper silverware, napkin, share plates, etc.
- Set tables according to house standards and meal period placements.
- Clear finished tables in an expedient manner.
- Clean area around assigned section throughout the seating period and take dirty used dishes to the dish station and breakdown according to standards for the Kitchen Utility personnel to wash.
- Bring any guest complaint(s) or issue(s) to the immediate attention of the Manager on Duty
- When necessary, notify the Host/Hostess of vacant tables ready for setting and number of settings needed.
- Complete opening and closing side duties to standard.
- Become familiar with dining room menus to properly answer any guest questions regarding such.
- Adhere to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to constantly stand, walk and carry 10lbs or less.
- Must be able to frequently reach outward, carry 11-20 lbs, and push/pull 12 lbs or more.
- Must be able to occasionally sit, reach above shoulder, squat/kneel, bend and carry 21-50 lbs.
