Key Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before service hours, ensuring all food items, utensils, and condiments are stocked and displayed neatly.
- Prepare and replenish food and beverage items according to established standards, including hot and cold items, pastries, cereals, and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout service hours, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
- Monitor food temperatures regularly to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Greet guests warmly, provide assistance as needed, and promptly address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to assist guests with dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times, including handwashing, glove usage, and storage guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and rotating products to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff, including kitchen staff and housekeeping, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold brand standards and guidelines for food and beverage service, cleanliness, and guest interactions.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, including setup and breakdown of the breakfast area.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the hotel.
