Responsibilities:
- Set up the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring that all food and beverage items are properly displayed and stocked
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as hot and cold beverages, cereals, pastries, and fruits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout the shift
- Monitor food levels and replenish as needed to ensure a consistent supply for guests
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and answering any questions they may have
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of guests
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food to maintain freshness and quality
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
