Breakfast Attendant

Holiday Inn Express, Lake Park is looking for an energetic self-starter to serve as Breakfast Attendant on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). As Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area.

Breakfast Host Duties include but are not limited to:

- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet according to established standards

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive for breakfast providing assistance when needed

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to replenish food and beverage items as needed

- Restock items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for next day

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns or special requests

-Clear tables and clean up the after it's vacated to ensure clean table for next guest

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies

- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed

-Ensure coffee and other items are replenished timely

-Breakdown breakfast area after closing by putting necessary items away and restocking, clean tables, chairs, counter tops, polishing the glass and dishes, sweep and mop breakfast and dining area

- Will assume cooking duties when the cook is absent

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in similar role is preferred

- Strong guest relations skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, must be a people person
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant type environment

- Ability to prioritize task

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Physical Requirements

Must have the ability to stand for the duration of the shift (4 + hours), walk briskly, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs
