Job Description - Breakfast Attendant
FivePine Lodge is a proud recipient of the AAA Four Diamond award and we are looking for a reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team. This position reports directly to the Chef and is responsible for daily preparation and service of our continental breakfast items.
Summary:Breakfast Attendant oversees the execution of daily breakfast for lodging guests. Maintain quality, service, and operating standards as established by FivePine to ensure quality and consistency. Adheres to federal, state and local regulations concerning health safety, required permits, or other compliance requirements.
Schedule: Most days start at 6:00am. This position is typically an 8 hour shift, with some days being less based on business levels. This is a full time position with expected hours to be between 32-40 hours a week. Some weekends and holidays are required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Act with integrity in accordance with FivePine’s vision and mission statement in all circumstances.
- Demonstrate responsible behavior through punctuality, professionalism, reliability, and courteous communication.
- Follow the instructions of your supervisor including in the assignment of additional tasks or duties.
- Preparation of in-house baked goods and granola
- Set up and break down daily continental breakfast buffet ensuring breakfast items remain well stocked while maintaining the appearance of the buffet are and dining area
- Deliver breakfast boxes to guest rooms: greet all guests warmly and serve guests in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. Anticipate guest’s needs and respond promptly and courteously.
- Store and properly handle raw and prepared foods and non-food supplies.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the breakfast room and general cleaning of conference center
- Ability to lift 30 pounds, unload and stock vendor deliveries
Required Qualifications
- OLCC and Food Handlers cards required (or ability to obtain upon employment)
- Ability to repeatedly lift/carry/pull/push 30 pounds
- Ability to be on feet for 6-8 hours
- Licensed Oregon driver able to safely operate delivery cart
- Applicants must be 18 years or older

Desired Competencies and Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Customer Service (1+ year preferred)
- Food handling or preparation experience a plus
- Ability to obtain an OLCC
