Instrumental Group is seeking a Brand Strategist to join our fast-growing digital agency, a top-rated HubSpot Elite Solutions partner. We're looking for motivated individuals with brand and content marketing experience. Being passionate about inbound marketing and HubSpot is a huge bonus. You'll join a group of marketers operating on the cutting edge of digital marketing and sales and work with excellent clients in the B2B and B2C space.
As a Brand Strategist, you will own the messaging strategy and execution for our clients seeking to leverage inbound and flywheel strategies inside HubSpot. You'll ensure we are building out and properly executing buyer personas, customer journeys, targeting strategies, messaging, and content production in support of overall campaign goals. You will perform client and industry research to help craft content strategy and promotional campaigns that include blog posts, premium & pillar content, email campaigns (drip, nurturing, automated, and promotional), and social media promotion. You will be responsible for ensuring our clients' content maintains a professional, consistent brand voice and brand story to external audiences through all media channels.
Objectives of this Role
- Obtain a thorough understanding of our clients' audience, products, and differentiators to develop content strategies aimed at increasing effective communications and brand awareness
- Manage the content creation process from ideation through publication, from developing a creative brief to collaborating with copywriters, videographers, marketers, and designers
- Create editorial calendars that take into account target personas, keywords, and content format to reach and influence the right audience
- Amplify our clients' brand and content through channel distribution strategy recommendations and execution
- Use SEO best practices to drive relevant organic search traffic to our clients' websites in collaboration with our Search Strategists
- Write compelling copy for website pages, landing pages, blast and nurturing emails, social media, blog posts, pillar pages, and premium content formats
- Fully own brand and content-related features of HubSpot for clients and leverage inbound marketing expertise to drive results
- Assist in the execution of marketing plans to reach a target audience through identified channels
- Take part in brainstorming sessions, offering analytical insights to develop and plan creative marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness
- Collaborate with team members to optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, virtual events, and social channels
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent experience
- Outstanding written, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with marketing tools, HubSpot preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
- Attention to detail, ability to edit and maintain quality standards for content throughout the creation process
