JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for developing plans and executing projects that support the broader short and long-term marketing brand strategies. Responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing marketing programs to achieve continuous market growth. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to ensure new and existing brands remain relevant to consumers, support the brand promise, and strengthen brand equity. Assist in the lifecycle management of the brands for long term brand vitality. The Marketing Brand Manager will work closely and collaborate with Merchandising, Social & Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, Media Services & Creative, Operations and other areas ensuring brand strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue goals. Will establish and build business relationships with product vendors, advertising and PR agencies as needed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Brand Plan Development - translates brand elements into plans and go-to market strategies. Supports development of integrated marketing plans for Jared. Collaborates with teams on executing the overall strategy including advertising and marketing communication, promotions, product news and innovation, in-store, and on-line tactics.
- Program Management and Execution - manages day-to-day coordination of brand programs from start to completion. Aligns the company around the brand's direction, choices and tactics. Owns timeline and marketing analysis. Enlists the implementation teams on executing the plan including digital marketing, online advertising, direct mail, advertising and marketing communication, promotional activities, social media, in-store signage, etc. Works closely with each department involved ensuring comprehensive, complete, and on-time execution.
- New Product Brand/Collection Development - collaborates with the Merchandising and Marketing functional teams to develop positioning for new product brands and collections
- Analysis - works with Marketing Analytics and Marketing Research teams to provide data base analysis for the brands and programs implemented. Provides consumer insights and market trends to better identify opportunities to drive growth.
- Business Results - works with Operations, Marketing Analytics and Business Partners/Vendors to track and report on all marketing tactics and metrics for the brands. Work collaboratively with agencies and internal resources to drive superior market results.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field required.
Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Experience in digital/social media marketing and communications. A strong writer, a strategic communications thinker and a proven communications professional with relevant experience in multiple communication disciplines working for a large, global company or organization. Experience in the retail and consumer products industries.
Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 4+ years
Technical/Other Skills Required:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet savvy.
- Proven record of accomplishment of managing progressively complex projects in a brand/ agency or consultancy environment; strategic, analytical thinking and personal organization are musts.

The salary range for this opportunity is $95,000 - $105,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
