As a Gibsland Bank and TrustBranch Manager you will be responsible for maintaining an engaged,operationally sound, and high performing team dedicated to meeting the needs ofour customers as well as the continued success of your branch. You will function as a loan officer and willbe able to perform the duties of the teller supervisor and customer servicerepresentative. As a Branch Manager youare responsible for leading, coaching and guiding your team of Tellers/CSRs to achievesuccess and ensure all functions of the branch are accounted for at alltimes. You will be responsible for allbranch goals and budgets. You will beresponsible for working with various other Bank departments to ensurecompliance with bank policies, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local),and regulations.
PRIMARYRESPONSILBILITES:
The person in this positionwill be responsible for day to day operations of the branch. Duties willinclude but are not limited to:
•Supervision ofTeller/CSR employees, including scheduling employees, approving transactions,assisting with balancing cash drawers and vault and opening new depositaccounts, assisting customers with initial loan application and with final loandocumentation.
•Hands on day today work in the Teller or Customer Service Representative area if needed. This could include running a teller window, vault teller, opening new depositaccounts for customers, etc.
•BusinessDevelopment - representing Gibsland Bank in surrounding area at communityevents and developing new or existing customer relationships.
•Ensure thatbranch staff follows GBT policies and procedures.
•Perform functionsof loan officer, including recommend products and services for customers,accepting applications for consumer and commercial loans, and maintain a loanportfolio.
•Consistent andreliable presence at work is required. Schedule will vary and may includeearly mornings and late afternoons.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum Two (2)years of bank branch, sales, or sales management experience that demonstrateincreased levels of responsibility and competency.
•Strong computerskills required, including all Microsoft Office products.
PREFERENCES:
•Bachelor's degreein Business, Finance or Accounting preferred.
