Branch Manager - Raleigh

Web-Don Inc., a family-owned business in the Carolinas and Tennessee has been a main distributor and a staple of laminate countertops, cabinets, stone and other surfacing materials used in a variety of areas (countertops, worktops, office spaces, business, and homes). Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise all location staff, including counter sales, drivers, warehouse, and fabrication staff.
• Manager accountable for ensuring the processing of customer orders daily.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and receiving records of all warehouse shipping supplies.
• Maintain and enforce all safety protocols.
• Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner as well as rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
• Oversees the supplying of materials to fabrication, and the proper storage of materials to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Assist in strategy to improve P&L Statement management.
• Manage all open customer orders, ensuring that they are going out properly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; having a high comfort level interacting with various levels of suppliers, associates, and managers.
• Good working knowledge of math and business formulas; including gross margin.
• Proficient in various computer programs, including Excel, Word, Estimating, and Inventory Control Systems.
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations, preferably OSHA 10-hour certification, and DOT regulations.
• Personnel management experience required.
• Inventory management experience required.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Warehouse Manager/Logistics Manager-Experience in a distribution center would be ideal.
• Experience with ERP software preferred but not required.
