Responsibilities:
The Branch Manager will often be a player/coach responsible for leading a safe, high-performing, customer-focused team. The Branch Manager will recruit, hire, train and retain service technicians by working as a servant leader role while leveraging all Crane 1 support resources. This is a demanding, 'hands-on', entrepreneurial position that requires a person with the ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of management, operational, and sales-oriented activities. It is a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Familiarity with managing operations in a service-based, industrial maintenance and repair business is important.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership in a safe work environment by functioning as the branch safety officer. Organize, document and report monthly safety meetings. Maintain and provide all safety-related documentation, per company guidelines.
- Manage budget and allocate resources appropriately to meet current and future growth needs.
- Effectively communicate company philosophies and goals and adhere to high ethical standards.
- Responsible for the management of profit and loss for the branch/service center.
- Retention and Recruitment for the branch/service center.
- Deliver financial objectives with a focus on revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA.
- Work collaboratively with the Regional Management to manage key accounts and grow market share.
- Responsible for developing routines to support the branch and communicate results to the Regional Operations Manager
- Follow-up on all branch and associate generated solid leads, referrals, and bid lists for both new and existing customer inquiries.
- Meet with new potential customers, provide needed information, and educate them regarding Crane1 product and service offerings.
- Generate, present, and negotiate service quotes/proposals to potential customers.
- Maintain awareness of customer budgets, and competitive threats in the market, ensuring that quotes are competitive and reasonable.
- Foster a continuing, positive, trusting, and professional relationship with all accounts, acting as a liaison between Crane1 and the customer. Scheduling periodic customer site visits to help maintain a strong relationship.
- Lead weekly production meetings to facilitate revenue and cashflow objectives.
- Able to clearly articulate and execute the Crane 1 Advantage in your territory.
- Collaborate with the new business development team to grow the territory.
- Manage the sales funnel process as part of a routine way of working.
