About the Role
The DMe B2B Data and Systems team (capabilities) is looking for a seasoned Program Manager to help lead the team's delivery operations and coordinate the roadmap across short-term projects and crucial annual programs. This position will be part of the broader product/program management team and will work on projects cutting across Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Sales Systems, all while influencing the smooth functioning of a highly technical team.
In this critical role, the incumbent is expected to comprehend the broader business/GTM strategy of the DMe B2B business, understand the role of the capabilities (data & systems) team, apply structured thinking and frameworks to support the team delivery operations, and drive accountability across the team, all while playing the role of a strategic thought partner to the Senior Director of B2B DMe Data & Systems.
Business Operations
Understand the various operating cadences & sprints across the team and enable them to run more effectively by providing ‘best practices’ with sprint management, including JIRA and Wiki usage.
Drive the quarterly prioritization process across all sub-teams/pods by considering development capacity, XFN dependencies, and stakeholder prioritization.
Lead planning, content/slide creation, and facilitate scheduling of stakeholder meetings by working closely with the respective product managers and functional leads.
Coordinate weekly staff meetings, including structuring meeting agenda, tracking action items, and ensuring action items are being worked on, with proper course of action and timeline clarity.
Critical Annual Programs
Help coordinate the progress, delivery, stakeholder updates & communication for all critical FY’24 programs such as DTP - Dynamics Transformation, EaseIQ for Phones & Chat, DMe B2B Data Science Program.
Team Operating Rhythm
Drive annual and quarterly planning for each sub-team/pod, including OKR definition and tracking.
Enable smooth team operations by building and maintaining a central Wiki (with key content), JIRA boards, and driving best-practices for these, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Economics, or another field. Preferably an MBA or MSc/MS in a STEM field or equivalent experience (MBA, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics. Physics, Statistics, etc.)
7+ years of experience in program management, and experience supporting senior leadership as their operations lead, sound knowledge of JIRA, Wiki, Scrum (waterfall & agile), and other PGM best practices.
Strong technical and business understanding of the technology, software or engineering industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to influence at an executive level.
