Box Office Attendant

The Akron RubberDucks is looking for friendly and dedicated individuals to join the team as Box Office Attendants. As a Box Office Attendant, you will be responsible for processing game-day ticket sales, providing fantastic customer service to our fans and handling any potential ticketing issues. The ideal candidates are friendly, expected to be champions of digital ticketing and help make the experience as seamless as possible for fans. This a part-time seasonal game-day position during the 2024 baseball season.

Responsibilities:

· Sell tickets to customers using a computerized ticketing system.

· Greet guest in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and answering questions about times, seating arrangements, pricing, and other inquiries.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Box Office area.

· Assist with will-call ticket distribution and resolve any ticketing issues or discrepancies.

· Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.

· Stay informed about current promotions, discounts, and special offers to effectively upsell additional services or products.

· Follow security procedures to prevent theft and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.

· Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a similar role preferred.

· Strong communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

· Basic math skills and proficiency in using computerized systems.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

· Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.

· Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the Box Office area.
