Bookkeeper/Controller

Georgetown-based roofing company is looking to grow their team with someone who is comfortable being a bookkeeper while also wearing another hat as a controller. This role will also help advise, and financially-steer the company into more efficient accounting and financial planning methods.

This role will assist the day-to-day operations and cashflow for residential and commercial roofing transactions. This consists of roofing repair and maintenance, installation, and inspections.

What We Are Looking For:

- Strong bookkeeping experience +3-4 years of experience

- Someone with a big-picture mindset

- Ability to balance 3-4 subsidiaries ledgers and payroll

- Experience with AP/AR, reconciliation's, and account adjustments

- Ability to work with Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office. Rooflink experience is a plus but not necessary

- Familiarity with creating and submitting monthly journal entries

-Adept at balancing multiple projects 

What You Will Do

DAILY-
● Check the Bank and manage balances and cash flow for all 3 Companies
● Transfer money as needed at the bank and record in all company’s Quickbooks.

WEEKLY-

● Pay Credit Card bills on Capital One website and record in Quickbooks. Various dates
throughout the month.
● Go through Repair and Subcontractors checks to ensure coded and class correctly.
● Gutter Credit Card Payments and reconcile to credit card processing fee and the bank deposit.
● Run detailed Accounts Receivable report and share with Management Team.
● Make any necessary adjustments or corrections to accounts receivable customer accounts per management meeting.
