Bookkeeper - Quick Books Proficient

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in QuickBooks
- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis

- Paying Vendor Invoices and reconciling any differences

- Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting management to errors.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
- Provide support for payroll processing and tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information

- Provide assistance to administrative staff as needed

Skills:
- Knowledgeable and Proficiency in QuickBooks

- Computer skills, proficient with spreadsheets, Excel, Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
- Technical accounting skills, including the ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation processes
- Understanding of GAAP and its application in financial reporting

- Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex financial matters in accessible terms
- Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
