We are looking for a part-time Business Strategy Manager who has excellent communication skills, takes pride in their work, likes being part of a team, can work independently, and has great attention to detail. They will analyze financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. The Business Manager is a valued partner to the Owners and Practice Manager.
This position will develop the long-term strategy and associated action plan or
strategy deployment for the business. Identify adjacent market opportunities,
evaluate the competitive landscape, and develop strategies to increase
profitability. In this role, they will assist in identifying opportunities for
improvement through financial metrics as well as develop and maintain
accounting processes to support operational excellence.
The Business Manager must be a detailed-oriented, professional who is expected
to be organized and efficient with a range of basic financial tasks that are critical to
our company's ability to be sustainable and to grow.
Some examples of what you can expect in a given week:
Meet with the owners and Practice Manager to present & implement
business strategies
Act as a resource to provide information on financial reports and budget
preparation
Develop, analyze, and monitor budgets and variances
Monitor capital allocations
Conduct cost benefit analysis along side Practice Manager and review financial transactions
Accounts payables (AP)
Cashflow reporting
Monthly reconciliation of financial accounts
Work with accountant to finalize books for year end
Taxes & 1099s
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in business administration, Accounting, Finance -OR- other
related field -OR- equivalent education/experience
Three (3) years of operational performance improvement and/or
bookkeeping experience
Experience working in healthcare industry and knowledge of provider pay
structures
One (1) year experience of facilitating teams to successful outcomes in
operational improvements, problem-solving, etc.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (NOT QuickBooks Desktop)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks Time
Experience with Tableau Dashboards a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
