Description:
We are on the lookout for a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in New Castle, Delaware. This role predominantly involves managing financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to bank reconciliations and payroll processing. As a Bookkeeper, you will also be tasked with data entry, maintaining financial records, and utilizing various software such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.
- Strong Bookkeeping skills are essential.
- Ability to perform accurate Data Entry tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Month End Close activities.
- Proficiency in managing Payroll.
- Experience in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Post journal entries as necessary to maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records and month-end close processes.
- Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to manage data and financial information.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Respond to inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and entered accurately.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports as required.
