SalaryLooking for an experienced collision repair estimator who can simultaneously lead our company’s Body Shop division and manage operations. Ideal candidate will be someone with a strong estimating background and familiarity with the Body Shop setting who is driven, capable, and confident they can lead. Candidate will be given freedom and responsibility to improve workflow, implement best practices, and grow with the company.
Responsibilities Include:
- Estimating using CCC software
- Greet customers and provide initial estimates, explain repair processes, and answer any questions
- Express empathy to clients and inspire confidence in the ease and quality of our team’s repairs
- Schedule repairs and manage workflow of all claims/vehicles
- Communicate repair schedules and daily priorities to lead technicians
- Inspect vehicles after tear down and assess all necessary repairs
- Communicate progress and provide status updates to clients
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, prepare supplements, and negotiate as needed
- Order parts and track arrivals across open claims
- Take in-process photos during repairs and organize claim files
- Quality check all completed vehicles
- Ensure repair deadlines are met and keep the flow of cars efficient
- Help navigate and resolve any problems that arise
- Track claim payments
- Resolve any customer concerns and ensure all clients leave on a positive note
- Maintain clean work environment
- Promote honest and ethical practices, inspire customer loyalty
- Additional responsibilities as needed..
This position is for someone who can handle taking on several roles and managing a full plate. The right individual will be compensated for their efforts with a salary + commission payment structure. A base salary of $65k will be offered along with a quarterly bonus structure that will reflect a percentage of profits. A capable candidate should be making $100-120k yearly, with opportunity for much more if they are driven and excel in their performance. Our Body Shop is currently open Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
