As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Estimator to join our team.

Job Description: As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a vital role in assessing vehicle damage, estimating repair costs, and communicating effectively with customers and insurance companies. You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, identifying necessary repairs, and providing accurate estimates for both parts and labor. Additionally, you will coordinate with our technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine repair requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for repair costs, including parts and labor.
• Communicate effectively with customers and insurance adjusters to explain repair estimates and negotiate approvals.
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and pricing guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including frame straightening, paintwork, and mechanical repairs.
• Proficiency in estimating software and familiarity with industry-standard estimating tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
