The Position:
- Opening the Rental Office – Checking voicemails, emails, counting cash drawer, making sure everything is stocked and tidy, reviewing business levels for the day, etc.
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls
- Make all book-by-phone reservations and inform customers of our rental policies
- Be knowledgeable about the boats, company policies, and surrounding areas in order to answer any customer inquiries
- Maintain open communication with management to make sure that the office is running as efficiently as possible
- Checking in all renters and instructing them what to do before boarding
- Coordinate with the dock hands to make sure that all renters are sent out on time and in the proper boat type
- Checking out all renters as the boats are returned to the dock
- Stay on top of voicemails, emails, stocking, and cleaning as much as possible throughout the day
- Maintain the proper amount of cash/change in the cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Maintain a friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times (clean, wrinkle-free clothing, hair and facial hair kept clean and neat, tasteful jewelry and/or makeup)
- Closing the Rental Office - Fill out tracking spreadsheets with the daily information, count cash drawer, review business levels for next day and ensure that we are properly staffed, stock all supplies and retail items, make sure office is tidy for next day, secure all valuable items and lock office before leaving

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
