Outboard Technician
Be proficient in mechanical work on Mercury two stroke and 4/stroke Mercury Outboard motors, diagnose and repair problems within the standard warranty time allotted and be proficient on mechanical work on other outboard motor brands. Maintain shop cleanliness, be familiar with shop and parts work orders and be able to look up parts. Be proficient with moving boats in/out of shop and in yard with a tractor, other duties as assigned.
Certified mechanics will be given priority however energetic applicants with the desire to acquire certification and schooling will have an advantage. Starting pay will be either hourly, commission or a combination of both and will be determined by experience.
Be proficient in rigging boats with accessories including electronics, jack plates, shallow water anchor systems and motors.
