Extraordinary Pediatrics, PC, provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Special Educators, BCBA’s and ABA Specialists to schools, homes and other settings. St. Mary’s Kids at Roslyn/ Extraordinary Pediatrics, PC is seeking an experienced, creative and enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. Experience in a public school setting with varying diagnosis is required. Collaborate and coordinate with school personnel including, teachers and paraprofessionals to assure carry over of strategies and behavior plans that have been developed for the students. Participate in pre-referral and IST in coordination with school professionals. Crisis prevention training would be a positive- training is available.

Job Responsibilities
· Designs, monitors, and evaluates individual students' instructional programs based on behavioral needs.
· Establishes effective data collection and graphing systems, analyzes data, and trains staff in methods of data collection and analysis
· Conducts student-based assessments, observations, functional behavioral assessments and shares results in a written report including attendance at CSE meetings
· Provides ongoing training, coaching, and support to all staff who implement ABA-based instructional or behavioral programs
· Models the behavioral assessment and behavior intervention planning processes for staff and serves as a resource to them.
· Develops appropriate instructional and behavioral goals with staff, students, and parents.
· Provides Parent Training based upon IEP mandates
· Meets regularly with student-centered teams and participates in the review, progress monitoring, and problem solving processes.
· Serves as a professional resource to teachers, staff, and administrators on matters concerning effective instructional and behavioral services for students.
· Maintains confidential data and records regarding services as required.
· Assist and supports team with crisis student
· Adheres to the highest professional and ethical standards in all aspects of practice.
Qualifications:
· Applicants must be a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) – certified and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®)
· Must maintain professional liability insurance
· Experience conducting functional behavior assessments, the VB-MAPP, and AFLS is a plus
· Experience working in a School based system
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
