The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst provides specialized expertise to define, measure, assess and characterize behaviors, select and evaluate interventions and strategies, display and interpret behavioral data, and monitor behavior change. Additionally, this position provides the technical, systemic behavior support and training of behavior interventions and strategies for compliance purposes.
Essential Functions
- Writes assessment reports based on initial assessment including behavior support recommendations.
- Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments, writes reports, and develops behavior intervention plans.
- Trains staff in the implementation of behavior intervention plans, recommended strategies and monitors implementation.
- Conducts staff training on topics in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and actively monitors and supports staff in the implementation of ABA strategies and procedures.
- Provides ongoing support one-on-one or in a small group settings in one or more schools.
- Modifies behavior intervention plans and skill programs as needed.
- Assists with the development of materials for behavior support and skill training.
- Supports school team at Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as needed to review progress, data, and develop IEP goals.
- Attends Behavior Support Committee and staff meetings as needed.
- Complies with all rules and regulations set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
BCBA Certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Three (3) years of experience working with students with disabilities in an educational or clinical setting.
Must be eligible or able to obtain a Georgia PSC Clearance Certificate.
This position is itinerant and requires reporting to multiple sites regularly.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing.

Maintains all licenses and certifications.
