Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is interested in providing clinic, home and/or school-based Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. We offer a small, collaborative, and caring community of staff who support one another to provide excellent services for each client we serve. Ideal candidates for this position will have demonstrated supervisory experience and an effective history of working with individuals with severe behavior.
- The BCBA will provide support to clients in their own homes by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses, assessment, positive behavior acquisition, reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills
- The BCBA will also oversee programming and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Functional Behavior Assessments
- Provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of direct support professionals in the implementation of positive behavior support plans, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques
- Ongoing training and supervision of direct support professionals in the implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies
- Create an ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all clients, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming
- Develop positive behavior support plans for all clients with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing maladaptive behavior(s)
Qualifications:
- The position requires a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) certification in behavior analysis (required)
- Currently a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) by the Department of Health of WA or currently eligible for licensure. Applicants who hold a BCBA or BCBA-D credential are eligible for a LBA in Washington State
- Valid Driver’s license and transportation that is reliable and insured in the state of Washington
- Experience providing ABA therapy with children
