Are you a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking a rewarding opportunity in Kent, WA? Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with academic and behavioral deficits in a school setting. This position will supervisor 6 RBTs. Position starts at the beginning of January.
Pay Scale: $78-$80/hr
- Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments and educational evaluations to identify challenging behavior functions and pivotal behaviors.
- Foster collaborative relationships with school staff, providing training in applied behavior analysis techniques to ensure effective implementation.
- Offer ongoing support and training to related field staff, ensuring treatment integrity and fostering professional growth.
- Investigate concerns, providing coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
- Develop behavior goals tailored to the needs and abilities of each student.
- Implement non-aversive behavior change methods for prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies.
- Collect, analyze, and report data within established time frames to uphold program validity and efficacy per contract guidelines.
- Attend and present behavioral progress at Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience in providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools.
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Must meet federal, state, and local requirements.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to elicit/provide information effectively.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
