Black Star Farms, a socially and environmentally conscious destination winery, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Front of House (FOH) Servers for our new restaurant, Bistro Polaris. As a FOH Server, you'll be an integral part of our team, delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving guests, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. You'll also have the opportunity to support the BOH team and other members of the FOH team, creating a collaborative and efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For:

Responsibilities:
● Ability to describe and communicate our food and beverage offerings to our guests
● Take orders for food/beverage and serve food orders to guest tables
● Help bus tables when guest are finished
● Support the BOH with dishwashing if needed
● Ensure proper processing/handling of all guest financial transactions
● Follow food safety standards and regulations at all kitchen and dining areas including waste disposal
● Provide a safe dining experience including food allergies
● Complete daily cleaning tasks
● Provide our guests with exceptional service
● Properly represent our company brand and products
● Engage with our guests and have fun!
● Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
● Adhere to policies and procedures set forth by management and BSF
Qualifications:
● Must be 17 years of age or older
● While previous restaurant experience is preferred, we're willing to train motivated individuals!
● TAMs/Tips and ServSafe certifications are a plus
● A genuine passion for providing outstanding service
● Knowledge of TOAST POS system is advantageous
● Physical ability and stamina to carry trays, walk, stand, or move for extended periods
● Adhere to policies and procedures set forth by management and BSF
● Ability to execute and follow orders/assignments given by management
● Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
● Reliable means of transportation
