Title: Biomedical Technician

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: Contract to hire

Summary:
This position maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan. Demonstrates a mastery of skills and task associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment. Capable of educating others including clinical staff related to the technical integration of the device/system.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• At least 5 years Hospital or Biomedical Equipment Service Required

EDUCATION:

• Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience
• Two-year associate degree in biomedical Equipment Technology, electronics, military or equivalent training and experience Required

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Must obtain Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification within one year of hire

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
