General Summary
As an independent contractor in this role, you will help JustAnswer strive to make the world a better place, one answer at a time. JustAnswer's mission is to help people. We do this by connecting our members with verified Experts to help answer life's questions and solve problems.
Customers come to JustAnswer to ask everyday questions or to help solve a problem they may be experiencing and are seeking guidance from an expert in that designated field. As an Expert, you will leverage your professional expertise as a Small Engine Mechanic to answer customer questions via talk, chat, text, or video. Experts earn money when they answer questions in their field of expertise and as an independent contractor, they have the flexibility and freedom to set their own hours and work anytime, anywhere. Most Experts are actively employed, own their own business, or are recently retired and answer questions on the JustAnswer platform for extra income in their spare time.

What you’ll do
- Answer inbound customer questions via chat, text, or video within our JustAnswer platform
- Leverage your professional expertise to provide guidance to customers
- Utilize your outstanding customer service by showcasing your expertise in your designated field, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction
- Set your own hours, choose how often to engage, and choose the questions you want to answer
- Work part-time, from your home, or anywhere answering questions online

- Specialized knowledge or training in your designated field, without the need for training from us

Qualifications
- Small engine repair/technology certification from the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) or state-issued certification
- Or 2 years of employment repairing Small Engine and other related equipment
