Bindery Operator 2
Position Summary:
Interprets written instructions to operate Stahl folding machine; loading paper; and making ready the machine while following all safety and quality control standards.
Position Responsibilities:

• Completes make ready and sets up folding machine for each run
• Maintains a neat and organized work environment
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift, bend and reach for extended periods of time, and lift 40+ lbs
• Able to work in varying conditions
• May be exposed to controlled non-toxic chemical mists or vapors

Position Skills:

• 2 years' bindery experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, read a ruler, and perform basic math
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team and provide direction
• Mechanically inclined to fix minor machinery issues

Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
