Responsibilities
We have an immediate opening for a BIM Manager (must have an active security clearance). This person will lead the delivery of modeling, reviewing content individually and with the project teams. You will liaise with peers across Page to maintain an awareness of the latest modeling methodologies while increasing the automation of tasks where possible. This role will allow you to support a team of modeling technicians, as well as provide support and mentoring for junior members in our downtown Washington, DC office.
  • Leading BIM delivery at a project level, managing the production of models and other outputs including drawings;
  • Working with Architects, Engineers, and Technicians on a range of projects;
  • Review, contribute and implementing BIM Execution Plans;
  • Oversee and manage BIM process for the project duration and ensuring all stakeholders are in alignment with the Project BIM Protocols;
  • Establish, implement and maintain quality control procedures,
  • Work with the Project Manager and discipline Engineers to define deliverable schedules and implement these within the model;
  • Supporting the project team with technical delivery using various software listed below;
  • Establishing BIM Coordination workshops and report progress at the Project Design Team meetings;
  • Creating and maintaining a BIM Coordination Program.

Qualifications
  • Government security clearance is required;
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training or prior work experience in the building industry;
  • 8+ years of related experience working in Architecture & Engineering, MEP or related industries, with detailed knowledge of project processes, milestones and deliverables;
  • Documented Department of Defense experience is preferred;
  • Proficiency in design tools, such as: Revit (including Excel plug-ins), and NavisWorks;
  • An articulate communicator able to convey Design Technology-related concepts to all levels of design and delivery professionals;
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion and to set priorities and manage competing demands;
  • Experience in modeling a range of services including but not limited to; mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment, and drainage;
  • Evaluate clash detection and run reports for internal coordination and quality control during design stage;
  • Provide advice and support for the group to enable efficient delivery and high-quality spatial data on the various projects;
  • Understand, manage and producing Asset Information, to industry standards such as COBie;
  • Experience producing/implementing BIM Execution Plans;
  • Setting up new project models following project standards;
  • Developing your digital and technology skills and be eager to assist others in the production of a high standard BIM output on projects;
