The job. What you will be doing as a Billing Specialist:

• Billing Specialist ensures all paperwork has been received accurately from carriers and ensures billing is processed appropriately.

What you need to land this awesome job:

• Education: High School Diploma (GED)
• Experience:
• Previous billing experience, transportation billing desired
• Competency in Microsoft application including Word and Excel.
• Competency in Google Apps.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• License or Certification: N/A
• Travel requirements: N/A
• Minimum Physical requirements: Lifting no more than 10 pounds
• Minimum Behavior requirements: You must Be Humble, Stay Hungry and Live Smart

A day in the life (but not limited to):

• Checking all paperwork for validity, accuracy and ensure all necessary paperwork is present
• Ensure customer/carriers are billed/paid correctly
• Maintain company spreadsheets to ensure proper billing procedures are being followed
• Working with internal departments to resolve any issues
• Prepare various reports for customers
• Prepare customer invoice per customers request
• Ensure accuracy of all customer invoices and carriers payable
