QUALIFICATIONS
- NYC agency billing and Deltek experience
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the architecture, construction, or engineering industries
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
Professional experience with Deltek Ajera is preferred.
The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm with three days in the office and 2 days from home.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations for diverse projects with NYC government agencies. Your primary responsibilities include processing billings, overseeing project-related accounts receivables, and managing subcontractors. Working closely with project managers and clients, you ensure accurate budgeting, contract compliance, and timely billing and payment processes. Collaborating with the CFO and team, you provide regular status updates and address any emerging issues.
Your meticulous attention to detail is crucial as you review and process a high volume of project-related invoices, ensuring alignment with contract terms and minimizing discrepancies. Additionally, you maintain organized records of executed contracts, proposals, purchase orders, and change orders.
