Pride Health is seeking candidates for a Billing Specialist opportunity based in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a 6-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion).
Responsibilities:
- The Claims Billing Specialist is responsible for responding to inquiries related to claims, eligibility, and authorization and working with multiple parties to ensure records are up to date.
- Ensures accuracy, reports issues, and works to resolve. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and health plan requirements.
- May assist in providing customer service, member services, and others in working with providers/billing offices when needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent,
- 1+ years of experience in medical claims/billing
Pay Range: $28/h - $29/h*
(*Pay offered will be based on experience, expertise, and education.)
