Billing Coordinator

Kuhl Therapies is seeking a full time medical Billing Coordinator to join our neurodiverse team. We are a trans-disciplinary clinic which is unapologetically Anti-ABA who values collaboration and cooperation across therapists to treat our kiddos with a holistic and integrated approach. The Billing Coordinator will be expected to be able to interact with therapists, clients and their families with Kuhl Therapies' values and philosophies in mind.

The Billing Coordinator- full time will be responsible for:

• Insurance Authorization and Referrals
• Weekly Patient Session tracking (tracking the sessions that each patient has had for the week and also the co-pay or whether they no-showed or not etc)
• Progress note request to therapists for insurance
• Co-Pay's/Deductibles
• All staff credentialing
• Invoices for no shows/cancels
• Therapist weekly charts
• Check mail on a daily basis
• Deposit Checks
• Enter all check remittances into the EMR
• Scan all check Remittances into google Drive for financial records
• Website updates
• Social Media
• Flyers and other materials
• Willing to embrace a neurodiverse mindset and be Anti-Aba

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a billing or accounting role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to work independently but also able to collaborate with the team
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Previous experience with graphic design or social media posts preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
