Job Summary

LynLake Centers for WellBeing is a thriving group psychotherapy and wellness practice with a diverse team of 190+ transdisciplinary professionals. We are seeking a Billing Assistant to support all aspects of our revenue cycle operations. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. This opportunity is an exempt, full-time position working primarily remotely from Minnesota with an estimated weekly commitment of 40 hours per week.

As the Billing Assistant for LynLake Centers for WellBeing, you will be responsible for assisting the Billing Team to achieve and maintain a trauma-informed, successful billing and payment experience for both clients and providers alike.

An ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for our mission of providing trauma-informed integrative mental health and wellness services to our fellow Minnesotans, especially those within an urban setting. Essential Duties

  • Supporting the revenue cycle operations relating to billing claims and charging clients for their balances due.
  • Working within LynLake’s Practice Management System and Electronic Health Record.
  • Running reports and reporting on metrics.
  • Working in collaboration with the Operations and Clinical teams to ensure smooth processes.
  • Supporting providers and clients regarding billing policies and procedures and offering times for phone calls and meetings to resolve concerns.
  • Participating in weekly meetings with the Billing Team and 2-3 shorter stand-up meetings throughout the week to resolve billing issues quickly.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support LynLake’s mission and values.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of required experience in Behavioral Health medical billing.

  • Must be able to set priorities, display initiative, and be accountable for specific outcomes

We provide mental health and wellness care to individuals, those in relationships, families, adolescents, and children in the greater Twin Cities area. We have several beautiful office locations across Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN.

Minimum salary/hourly: $22 per hour

Maximum salary/hourly: $28 per hour


The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value of LynLake/ARC Health’s benefits package, which includes, among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision, and retirement.
