Prairie States Enterprises is seeking qualified candidates to fill our open full-time Billing and Financial Analyst position. This is a full-time position with a hybrid remote work arrangement with initial training at our Chicago, Illinois location. Options will be considered regarding a flexible work arrangement after the full training has been successfully completed.

- Performs monthly customer Billing and distribution of invoices
- Performs new customer set-up, changes and renewals in the Eldorado customer billing system
- Posts cash and distribution of vendor payments in the Eldorado system
- Posts vendor invoices and manages payment timing through the Accounts Payable system in QuickBooks
- Processes customer refund payments
- Performs customer tax reporting
- Maintains records and coordinates the sending of year-end documents to Tax firm
- Maintains financial records for subsidiary company
- Completes financial and administrate projects for the CEO and CFO
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business-related field required with 3+ years successful experience in Accounting/Billing/Accounts Payable or Financial Analyst role preferably in the Health Insurance arena (i.e. TPA, Health Insurance Carrier or Financial Services related company) with strong emphasis on Billing and accounting functions. Eldorado Systems experience is a plus.
