Bilingual (Spanish/English) Contact Center Manager
Location: Lakeland, FL (in office)
Salary: $80,000-$102,000/annual based on experience
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic leader to join the GEICO Sales/Service Bilingual team in Spanish Operations! As a Bilingual Sales/Service Manager, you will be responsible for all activities related to selling and servicing policies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving performance and effectively leading in a co-management environment. This position requires the ability to express ideas effectively in written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an excellent experience to our customers, both internal and external, and our company
- Manage, through subordinates, all activities related to selling or servicing policies.
- Conduct and review associate performance reviews. Recommend salary adjustments and changes in associate’s status.
- Render underwriting decisions on cases referred by subordinates within authority limits
- Assign responsibilities to immediate subordinates. Guide and train subordinates in carrying out assignments and responsibilities.
- Review procedures and recommends new procedures. Implement new procedure when authorized.
- Assist in preparation of plans and budgets to achieve cost reduction where possible.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years operational management experience, preferably in a call center setting with 80-100 direct reports
- Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in business or related field, or if not degreed must have an additional 5 years operations manager experience
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
- Must be able to attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various states
- Must be able to handle heavy call volume in a fast paced work environment, resolve complex business problems and handle complicated customer issues
- Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
- Must meet attendance standards of the business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.
Location:
- This is an in-office position which requires you to work on site at GEICO's Lakeland, FL office.
