Bilingual Pharmacy Technician - (Flexible Workplace)

We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish) licensed Pharmacy Technician for a remote position in California.
Overview:

• March start date (temp to perm)
• Shift: 9 am - 6 pm (PST)

Responsibilities:

• Engage patients over the phone to deliver services on behalf of their health plan, explaining clinical programs and benefits.
• Identify potential medication-related and health-related issues, escalating them to the pharmacist.
• Obtain provider contact information to facilitate the delivery of clinical interventions.
• Gather patient information required for clinical interventions.
• Answer phone calls from patients, providers, and pharmacies, responding to inquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping in the designated software platform.
• Participate in process improvement meetings and team meetings to optimize workflows.
• Follow up with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and patients to resolve clinical issues and concerns.
• Prepare and mail patient educational materials and other necessary items as needed.
• Schedule patients for telephonic or videoconference appointments with clinical pharmacist.

Requirements:

• Technician license in the state of residence.
• Remote experience is preferred.
• Medication knowledge.
• Bilingual (Spanish).
