Bilingual Pediatric Social Worker/Msw (Spanish)

The primary role of a Social Worker at JayCare is assist children and their families by identifying and coordinating community recourses and services, as well as providing ongoing individual and group counseling to the parent or other family members of an infant or toddler.

The care provided by a pediatric Social Worker is fundamental to improving the quality of life for a child and their family.

As a Social Worker at JayCare, you should expect to:

• Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child’s specific developmental goals.
• Provide various strategies to family members or caregivers and facilitate active involvement to carry-over in day-to-day activity.
• Provide services in different settings such as homes, daycares, centers, or teleintervention.
• Ensure that progress is evident and that family members or caregivers are active participants in early intervention through addressing specific goals and communicating with the entire team.

Requirements:

• Must be Bilingual
• LSW
• Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills

Pay: $60.00 $70.00 per hour

We will build your caseload according to your areas and times of availability. We are looking for full time, part time, or even just one day a week. We will customize your caseload to meet your geographic and scheduling preferences. We are open to hiring Social Workers' with little or no experience in the field, as we provide comprehensive, hands-on training. This is a wonderful opportunity with room for growth within the organization.
