WHAT YOU’LL DO …

  • Adhere to the Roberts Communities Core Values Platform and Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Hire, train, supervise, and terminate subordinates (maintenance, janitorial, and subcontractors)
  • Set procedures to accomplish objectives
  • Maintain working knowledge of Landlord-Tenant laws/Regulations
  • Establish property and grounds maintenance schedules
  • Organize, submit and oversee all capital improvements
  • Safeguard and implement changes to ensure the overall integrity of the community
  • Pay attention to day-to-day details, including by way of example:
  • Confirm that residents are following Rules and Regulations
  • Issue citations and follow up with residents not following Rules and Regulations
  • Collect rent
  • Maintain high standards in business ethics
  • Ensure appropriate licenses, etc. are renewed
  • Prepare, update, secure, and maintain critical data for resident, maintenance, and personnel files, as well as petty cash reconciliation
  • Oversee the flow of data/paperwork from/to the corporate office, staff, and customers
  • Meet daily with department heads
  • Review and approve new residents; welcome and review Community documents with all new residents; generate Lease Agreements/Contracts
  • Establish and manage an effective customer follow-up program (calls, letters, e-mails)
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude; develop great rapport with current residents to encourage referrals
  • Work closely with home sales agents to make them successful throughout the transaction. Be knowledgeable about what is for sale (while not acting as Sales Person)
  • Be a servant leader to all staff and customers
  • Be consistent in reviewing competitors’ rents, websites, incentives, and activities
  • Complete assigned Training Courses for Fair Housing and other topics
  • Additional or modified duties as assigned within the Company’s discretion
  • Review and submit notes monthly on financials
  • Review monthly rent rolls

Requirements:


ROLE REQUIREMENTS…

  • Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English
  • General knowledge of maintenance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law
  • Good computer proficiency including e-mail, internet, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Campground Manager/Master & Rent Manager
  • Flexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours
  • Physical Activities: Constantly talk, walk, hear and use hands; Occasionally stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Lifting Requirements: Up to 25 lbs.
  • Environment Conditions: Occasionally exposed to temperature change
