We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Spanish and English and have a strong background in accounting principles and practices. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including data entry, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation. ```Responsibilities```
- Handle all clients billing issues
- Arrear calls (Cash Calls)
- Apply client payments
- Respond to internal/external client inquiries.
- Assist clients with the online portal for their monthly payments
- Monthly generation of Reports
- Prepare and issue letter of intent to withdraw to delinquent clients
- Light administrative work such as filing, typing, and making phone calls.
- Research and solve payment discrepancies
- Make adjustments to accounts as needed
- Prepare financial reports for management and CPA
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and errors.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Handle additional related projects as assigned.
- Analyzes accounts to resolve issues that result in billing and/or payment delays
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting bookkeeping principles
- Technical accounting skills, including account reconciliation.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
