NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a top-tier local agency that serves small to medium businesses with benefits of health & wellness, dental, vision, STD, LTD, life & accident, and other related services. Our client is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
- Managing accounts for assigned client accounts with a 20-300 employee population
- Managing renewal processes along with the production and other support teams to obtain quotes, including sending RFPs to vendors and follow up
- Working with various types of plans, including fully insured, level funded, TPA health plans, and non-medical benefits
- Providing servicing to the assigned accounts to ensure high touch, high level of service delivered to the clients
- Working knowledge of carrier requirements and guidelines and open to learning from others on the team
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, vendor partners, and clients
- Analyzing benefits rates for all lines of coverage and working with MS Excel to prepare presentations for the clients
- Coordinating open enrollment meetings, ensuring presentations and all items have been completed for a successful open enrollment process (including presentations both in person and via online presentations)
- Assisting employees with service needs, both basic and complex issues
- Working with the production team to identify any potential roadblocks or issues that exist with an account
- Handling requests with SLAs that encourage prompt attention to all client's requests and emails
- Fully Bilingual - Fluent in English/Spanish
Requirements:
- Fully Bilingual - Fluent in English/Spanish
- Problem-solving/ Critical Thinking skills required to provide solutions to clients' needs
- Superior attention to detail
- Active Listening Skills to help decipher clients' needs and service requests
- The ability to handle multiple projects/clients simultaneously organizing and prioritizing to meet deadlines and commitments is essential to success in this role
- 3+ years of account management or service position in a benefits brokerage firm
- Tech Savvy - MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Advanced MS Excel)
- Texas General Lines License
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution highly preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
