We are looking for a motivated bicycle enthusiast comfortable with building bicycles, interacting with our customers and our team members.
You must be able to regularly perform some bending, lifting and moving; including the ability to lift a bicycle (up to 50 pounds) on to and off of a rack, move boxes, parts to and from warehouse shelves and bicycles throughout the facilities.
Be prepared to wear many hats as all employees perform additional tasks as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform assembly and adjustment of bikes in an accurate and timely manner, while maintaining integrity of the bike the Jones Bikes way.
- Complete paperwork correctly.
- Report any discrepancies and follow the process to correct errors quickly and
accurately.
- Pick, pack and ship bikes and bike parts.
- Adhere to safety procedures regarding lifting and use of tools and equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Prepares orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
Note: Additional responsibilities may be assigned as business needs require.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Consistently practice good character.
- Interest in learning the Jones Bikes way of building bikes.
- Desire to share in our success.
- Accountable in a team working environment.
- Consistent positive attitude.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Bike Mechanic: 1+ year experience
- Knowledgeable with Bicycles, E-bikes and bicycle parts.
