ABOUT THE JOB
Provide assistance and support for a department or functional area on a temporary basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within the Business Intelligence team to gather, analyze, and interpret healthcare data from various sources including electronic health records, claims data, and patient surveys.
- Understand and work with complex data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions to enable effective analysis and reporting of healthcare data.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that provide insights into healthcare operations and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven insights that can improve patient care, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of BI solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
- Stay up to date with the latest BI technologies, trends, and best practices in the healthcare industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Public Health or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence solutions for healthcare organizations.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare privacy and security laws.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
