Job Summary:

The Benefits Specialist at Falcon’s will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs and ensuring that our employees receive accurate distribution and management of benefits. This role involves a combination of administrative, analytical, strategic and communication tasks to support both the company and employees. You will ensure that employees have access to and understand company benefits, as well as help to resolve any benefits related questions.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate the enrollment of new employees in all benefits programs, including, health insurance, dental, vision, life, retirement, and equity plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefit elections and changes.
  • Coordinate open enrollment periods, providing information to employees and guiding them through the enrollment process.
  • Process various required 401(k) forms for active and terminated employees and 401(k) loans for payroll deduction.
  • Manage employee equity program and support employee participation of the plan.
  • Liaise with benefits providers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators.
  • Negotiate and review contracts with benefits providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  • Monitor the performance of benefit providers and escalate issues as needed.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and filings
  • Develop and distribute materials that educate employees about their benefits options.
  • Conduct presentations or workshops to explain benefits programs to employees.
  • Administer Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and comply with state specific leave laws.
  • Serve as liaison for Short-Term and Long-Term Disability claims with benefit vendor.
  • Maintain and analyze benefits-related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports for management to assess the cost-effectiveness and utilization of benefit plans.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees seeking information or assistance with their benefits.
  • Provide guidance to employees on retirement plans, health insurance, wellness programs, and other benefits-related matters.
  • Assist with facilitating and implementing future compensation and bonus plans for the company.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience), with 3 years working at a senior level.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using benefits administration software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
  • Knowledge of HRIS; ADP is a plus.
  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon’s Beyond Global, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
