Job description

Water Tech, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual for our Human Resources/Benefits Department. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources. We are searching for an experienced benefits professional to join our team!

Duties described below but not limited to:
· Maintains records of benefit plans and tracks associate participation.

· Coordinates, executes, and organizes annual benefit open enrollments as well as new hire benefit enrollment.

· Oversee PTO processes to include all types of leave, including short and long-term disability programs.

· Responsible for analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by labor law; ensuring all policies, procedures and reporting are accurate and in compliance with Federal and State legislation.

· Provide current and prospective employees with information about employee benefits.

· Assists employees with both onboarding and termination processes and paperwork.

· Conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives in relationship to benefit offerings.

· Assist in maintaining personnel changes including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations and other employee statistics for government reporting.

· Regularly attends training to keep current of the latest regulations, trends, and best practices.

· Maintain an in-depth knowledge and expertise in employee benefits services, conducts benefits research and make recommendations on pending legislative actions regarding benefits.

· Interact in a positive manner with a diverse population of staff and customers of different backgrounds, learning styles, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.

· Handle benefit inquiries and complaints efficiently and clearly with a courteous resolution.

· Interpret and administer leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable Federal, State employment laws .

· Ensure all SPDs, SMMs, etc. are current and accurate for all applicable benefit programs.
