What you'll be doing:

    • As the Benefits and Compensation Manager you will be the subject matter expert on all issues relating to benefits administration, providing interpretation of benefit policies and providing guidance in administering procedures.
    • Provide expertise in compensation program design and strategy, performing analysis and modeling to support recommendations
    • Ensure the consistent application of the firm's pay philosophy, while responding to market pressures and competitiveness to attract and retain high performing talent
    • Administer AP's staff compensation programs including base pay, bonus, equity and Total Rewards programs
    • Evaluate and recommend the proper market value for roles and updates pay band on a regular basis
    • Participate in salary surveys and statistical analysis to determine what the market value is for each job
    • Compare comp-ratios to performance metrics to ensure alignment between performance and pay
    • Serve as Primary HR contact for vendors including benefits advocacy, 401k, leave/disability management, worker's compensation, etc.
    • Ensure benefit plan compliance with local, state and federal regulations including periodic review of plan documents, auditing, preparing required compliance reporting, and disseminating required employee notices
    • Administer ADA/Leave/Absence Management
    • Work with global health insurance broker to advise, manage and coordinate employee's annual benefits selections
    • Conduct benefits benchmarking and analysis
    • Conduct independent, in-depth analysis of new, existing and changing or proposed labor & employment laws, rules and regulations
    • Compile and analyze HR compensation and benefit data to provide decision support to HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Business Leaders

    • Prior experience designing and administering global benefit programs
    • Exceptional business acumen, ability to quickly learn and understand industry, product offering, competitive and customer environments.
    • Outstanding skills in both understanding and interpreting financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement), and financial modeling skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, interacts effectively with all levels within the company. A strong team player across a multi-functional organization, 'ego' checked at door.
    • Highly motivated and driven professional, able to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously, exceptionally strong work ethic.
    • Demonstrated strong people management skills, creates, and leads a high-performance finance team, promotes career development, effectively coaches / counsels' employees. Creates future finance leaders for the organization.
    • Commitment to excellence personally demands excellence in every aspect of the position, intentional focus on what could have been done better vs. what was done well.
    • Simplifies the complex, able to dissect and communicate complex, detailed issues in a simple manner to those who have less background or less details relating to an issue or opportunity.
    • Flexible to change work priorities and direction based on a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment.
    • Strategic thinking, knows how to apply knowledge of business and organization in decision-making, understands the interaction of multiple functions and how they are impacted by decisions. Views decisions in context of company, not just own position, or functional team
    • Outstanding ERP and financial system skills and demonstrated ability to learn new systems.

$103,200 - $130,000 a year
The shared salary range is based on our good-faith belief at the time of posting. While the range is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, we are often open to a wide variety of candidates and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced or more senior than this job description as posted. Total compensation may vary based on work experience, geographic location, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. Compensation Range: Base $103,200 to $130,000/yearly + annual cash bonus + equity and benefits such as paid holidays, open PTO, medical, dental, and vision.
