Behavioral Sciences Professor - Content Writer- Remote Or Onsite - 70K+

UWorld is seeking a professor with subject matter expertise in Sociology, General Psychology, or Clinical Psychology to join our growing organization as a Content Writer. In this position, the Content Writer will work closely with a team of fellow Behavioral Sciences experts and contribute to our web-based MCAT Psychology and AP Psychology Question Banks. Minimum education required:

• Master’s Degree in Neuroscience, General Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Sociology, or other related Behavioral Science discipline
• Experience or background in a clinical setting is a plus

Minimum experience required:

• Strong scientific writing experience (2+ years)
• Scientific research experience (2+ years)
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate level (5+ years)

Job responsibilities: Reports to the Manager of MCAT & AP Sciences Product Development and writes content for the online MCAT and AP Psychology Question Banks.

• Writes MCAT and AP Psychology questions with comprehensive rationales
• Works closely with editing and scientific illustration teams to create exceptional educational content that adheres to UWorld standards

• Applies knowledge that reflects standardized exam content and practices for generation of test questions
• Collaborates with management and team members during peak periods of new content development and revision to ensure goals and deadlines are met

• Uses constructive feedback to validate the accuracy and relevance of content written by other team members

• Participates in ongoing performance evaluation of current test items in the question bank
• Communicates effectively with quality assurance team to resolve technical issues related to content in a timely manner
• Works with IT and other support teams to troubleshoot content development issues that may arise
• Works with marketing and sales to develop content geared toward building and maintaining the UWorld brand
• Recognizes and champions the integrity and security of question bank content and proprietary assets

• Responds quickly to address user feedback and makes necessary edits to question bank content
