Behavioral Health Therapist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LCSW or LMSW Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team in the Virginia and Washington D.C area as a Behavioral Therapist, you will work with individuals to assess their behavioral needs and develop treatment plans to address those needs. Your role will involve providing counseling, therapy, and support to clients to promote positive behavioral changes. Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients' behavioral needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide counseling and therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based techniques
- Implement interventions
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychologists and psychiatrists, to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress
- Stay informed about best practices, current research and best practices in the field of behavioral therapy

Requirements:

- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
- Proven experience providing therapy and counseling services to individuals with diverse mental health concerns.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with group therapy a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
